EXCEPTIONAL WINES

Did you know that polyphenols play a crucial role in the quality and flavor of wines?

These antioxidants, present in the seeds, pulp and skin of grapes, as well as in the wine, are responsible for many of the sensory attributes that make a wine exceptional. From aroma and color to texture and astringency, polyphenols are essential for the creation of high-quality wines..

Experiment and improve

Ensuring proper control of polyphenols not only allows you to maintain consistency in the quality of your products over time, but also provides you with the opportunity to experiment and improve, creating more complex and refined wines.

Stand out

In an increasingly competitive and demanding market, where consumers seek unique and high-quality experiences, having reliable measurement tools becomes a key differentiator to stand out from the crowd.

DECISION MAKING

The information provided by our BRS can be useful for both producers and consumers, as it allows them to make informed decisions about the type of wine they want to consume based on their preferences.

The measurement of polyphenols in wine stands out as a key aspect in the production and marketing of quality wines,, allowing:

  • Identify potential issues during production
  • Determine quality and nutritional value
  • Monitor the effectiveness of winemaking techniques
  • Make quick decisions
  • Optimize resource use or ensure consistency in the wine’s properties

How to implement the BRS?

The BRS method uses the electrical charge transferred during the oxidation of the sample to determine the concentration of polyphenols. It is a device that consists of two main components: the disposable BRS strips and the BRS electrolyte.

The strips

The strips, on the other hand, are designed with a plastic support coated with a carbon material, providing an optimal surface for interaction with the wine sample and ensuring a precise measurement of the electrical charge.

BRS Electrolyte

On the other hand, the BRS electrolyte plays a crucial role in the chemical reaction that occurs during the measurement, enhancing electrical conductivity and ensuring reliable results.
